Rotterdam papercraft artist Bert Simons is known for his extraordinary photo replica technique using computer programs to flatten the subject into printable pieces of paper which he then glues together.

Simons’ range of paper artwork features many of his friends and politicians.

 Bert Simons work is very well skilled and unique. It has a quality about it that you look at it and think wow!!! He has mastered his technique and uses actual people he knows which is a good way of making work.

I like his work because its something completely different to what i would try to do and i wouldnt think to use people as a subject or to make a replica of their torso.
