Gail Armstrong

Gail Armstrong's paper sculpture illustrations (sometimes called origami) are unique and, over the years she has applied paper engineering skills to a wide variety of projects.

Gails work is very playful easy to look at and reminds me of my youth. It just says so much about her character and personality that she creates such bright coloured work and it does seem to have a youthful foundation to her creations.

I like this piece because it is so creative and looks spectacular without using loads of multi colours which shows that she can make more sophisticated work.
